Adrian Villar Rojas is an Argentinian artist based in Buenos Aires. Much of his work envisions the end of human civilization and his own life, constructing monuments in anticipation. His installations draw on popular conceptions of historical ruins, art and more, to allude to these epochal concerns. Additionally, Rojas’s massive cement creations portray both resistance to time’s decay and its inevitability.
